Fakie:
Riding backwards

Fiberglass:
Glass-fiber material, mainly as woven material;

Flat:
That flat part between the two halfpipe walls.

Flip:
Rotation around own axis.

Full-length Core:
The core material runs uninterrupted from tip to tail.

Full wrap:
Edges that wrap around the perimeter of the entire board, including the nose and tail.

Flex:
Term used to describe the stiffness of boards, boots and bindings.

Freecarve:
Carving without gates

Freeride:
Snowboarding on all types of terrain for fun, i.e. no contests, no halfpipe, no gates, no rules, etc.

Freestyle:
Describes any type of snowboarding which includes the best tricks and manoeuvres.

Frontside-Edge:
The side where the toes rest.

Frontside-Turn:
A left turn for a regular-footer and a right turn for a goofy-footer.

Fun Park:
Playground for freestyler with quarterpipes, halfpipes and all kind of banks.

Gap:
Room, between air and landing.

Grab:
To grab either edge of the snowboard with one or both hands.
